Occupational Therapist, OT - Home Health Visits

📋 Description

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Evaluate functional status; ADL/IADL; assess cognitive, psychological, motor aspects.
• Evaluate home environment for hazards or barriers to independent living.
• Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations.
• Educate patients and families in rehabilitative care to promote health, safety and independence.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations using EMR on a touchpad tablet.

🎯 Requirements

• A current Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license.
• Prior home care experience preferred, but not required.
• A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduation from an OT program accredited by AMA/AOTA.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
