Ocean Operations Associate

📋 Description

• Use Flexport allocation tools to actively route cargo to ocean carrier contracts with optimal cost
• Ensure all operational activities comply with international shipping regulations, company policies
• Prepare presentations and analysis for monthly and quarterly partner review processes
• Build and maintain an operational performance framework, including processes and tools to measure
• Drive performance management of freight forwarding partners, customs partners, and ocean carriers
• Define and refine operational performance and product adoption metrics in alignment with Account

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in professional logistics or supply chain operations
• Hands-on experience in ocean export or import operations on main trade lanes (e.g. TPEB
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate data-driven insights that inform decisions
• Professional proficiency in English, with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Commercial acumen with the ability to identify win-win operational and business opportunities
