Online Bookkeeper (CAD)

📋 Description

• Manage weekly bookkeeping activities for multiple clients using both accrual and cash accounting
• Maintain complete, accurate, and well-organized client books including monitoring debits and
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and review financial transactions to identify discrepancies
• Prepare month-end financial reports and ensure client records are current and reconciled
• Respond to client questions related to bookkeeping, explain financial information clearly, and
• Coordinate multiple client accounts and competing priorities using task management tools

🎯 Requirements

• At least five years of bookkeeping experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent understanding of accrual-based bookkeeping, cash accounting, payroll, debits and credits
• Practical experience using Xero and QuickBooks Online (QBO); familiarity with Hubdoc, Dext, and
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing tasks, manage several clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate professionally and
• Proactive, self-motivated approach with ability to work independently and find practical solutions
