Part-Time Pharmacist

📋 Description

• Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness
• Validate prescription data entry performed by pharmacy technicians, ensuring transcription accuracy
• Perform pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a closed-door fulfillment environment
• Perform daily prospective drug utilization review (DUR) to identify and resolve clinical flags
• Manage specialty medication handling requirements including cold-chain verification
• Provide proactive outbound patient counseling calls for new prescriptions, addressing drug

🎯 Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
• Active Missouri Pharmacy License in good standing with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy
• Strong command of the English language (written and verbal); bilingual Spanish preferred
• Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume prescription verification with strong attention to
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn pharmacy management systems, verification platforms
• 3+ years of experience in a mail order, specialty, retail or closed-door fulfillment pharmacy
