Partner Engineer

📋 Description

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll and HRIS connection issues, ensuring integrations work
• Partner directly with enterprise customers to test payroll integrations, identify potential issues
• Help customers and internal teams navigate complex payroll configurations, integration
• Work across customers, external partners, and engineering to diagnose problems, remove blockers
• Develop runbooks, monitoring practices, and workflows that improve reliability and reduce recurring
• Identify patterns and opportunities to improve integrations, customer experience, and engineering

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in partner engineering, solutions engineering, technical integrations, or a
• Strong understanding of APIs, including the ability to read documentation, troubleshoot failures
• Experience owning complex technical problems across multiple systems, stakeholders, or external
• Confidence working directly with customers, translating technical complexity into clear guidance
• Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to independently prioritize issues and drive them
• Experience building repeatable processes, documentation, or monitoring practices to improve
