PAS Resource Specialist

📋 Description

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of managed care plans, authorization requirements, and applicable
• Obtain authorizations for consultations, procedures, office visits, care arrangements, and related
• Act as a liaison and information resource for healthcare teams, referring offices, and patients
• Schedule complex patient appointments across diagnostic imaging modalities
• Maintain accurate scheduling information for providers, resources, and imaging services
• Collect required order and clinical information from physicians and clinics

🎯 Requirements

• One year medical office experience with direct patient contact, scheduling, and managed care
• Thorough knowledge of PAS policies and procedures
• Advanced PAS user skills
• Basic computer skills including word processing and Windows
• Experience with online scheduling systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Estimated salary of $27.78–$37.54 per hour
