Communicate with insurance companies to facilitate medication approvals
Assist patients with managing pharmacy insurance claims
Support prior authorization requests with clinician offices
Research and secure financial assistance through foundations, manufacturers, and other sources
Navigate pharmacy operating systems for data entry, claims adjudication, refills, and follow-up
Review prescriptions with physicians' offices

🎯 Requirements

1+ year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
High School Diploma or GED
State of Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician active license
PTCB or NHA national certification
Commitment to obtain additional licenses if required
Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office tools
