Payment Analyst

📋 Description

• Take diagnostic ownership of checkout and payment funnel health, proactively identifying alerts
• Lead root-cause investigations into funnel drop-offs and payment declines, distinguishing technical
• Analyze authorization rates, decline codes, payment performance, and other funnel metrics to
• Investigate performance across payment service providers and identify differences, outages, or
• Support regular funnel reporting for cross-functional stakeholders, translating payment data into
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Fraud teams to investigate payment

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on understanding of payment funnels and payment operations, including interchange, decline
• Experience performing root-cause analysis on funnel drop-offs, declines, or payment performance
• Ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences
• Strong investigative mindset with initiative to independently identify and explore issues
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
• Nice to have: Familiarity with self-service BI and dashboarding tools
