Payments & Embedded Fintech Partnerships Director

📋 Description

• Own and grow a portfolio of NAPI+ partners (e.g., Adyen, Affirm, Visa, sponsor banks)
• Own and scale 8am's embedded finance and fintech product initiatives (outgoing payments, capital
• Establish a world-class engagement model: strategy, QBR rhythms, executive reporting
• Negotiate and execute commercial agreements (new deals, renewals, amendments, incentives)
• Drive coordinated cross-functional execution of partner initiatives
• Identify and unlock new commercial and product opportunities within partnerships

🎯 Requirements

• 10–12+ years of progressive experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or
• Experience owning relationships with large, multinational payments companies (card networks
• Embedded finance, lending, or credit product experience (BNPL, working capital, card issuing
• Track record of leading complex commercial negotiations end-to-end
• Strong commercial instincts and comfort with financial models (P&L, interchange economics)
• Strong cross-functional leadership and influence
