Payroll Manager

📋 Description

• Own full-cycle payroll for all employee types using the payroll module.
• Process off-cycle payrolls, manual checks, retroactive adjustments.
• Manage final pay for terminated employees per state law timelines.
• Primary contact for payroll inquiries; assist with pay stubs and direct deposit.
• Manage tax filings and remittances: 941s, W-2s, 1099s.
• Configure automated payroll workflows and approvals to reduce errors.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5 years payroll management experience
• Payroll for 200+ employees across multiple states (CA/IL)
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Rippling or similar
• Experience with ADP/Paylocity/Workday is a plus
• Advanced payroll reconciliation, VLOOKUP, pivot tables
