Payroll Manager

📋 Description

• Manage all payroll functions for U.S. employees, including semi-monthly and special payrolls.
• Oversee equity-related payroll processing in partnership with the Stock Administration, Accounting
• Approve commission payrolls in alignment with plan documents.
• Help oversee the Travel & Expense (T&E) process, including expense report review and policy
• Assist with accounting for payroll, including the preparation of payroll journal entries, accruals
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, including federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years payroll experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a public
• Strong knowledge of California and multi-state payroll laws.
• Familiarity with SOX requirements and public-company audit processes.
• Familiarity with accounting for payroll, including journal entries, accruals, and account
• Experience managing payroll for equity compensation and commissions.
• Expertise in payroll systems (e.g., Paylocity, ADP) and equity platforms (e.g., Fidelity).
