Payroll Program Manager

📋 Description

• Lead full-cycle US payroll for multi-state staff; ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage payroll timelines, cycles, year-end, audits, and system changes.
• Point of contact for complex payroll matters: inquiries, tax, stock, garnishments.
• Review and reconcile payroll transactions, analytics, and month-end close.
• Partner with People Ops, Equity, Benefits, Accounting, Finance, Legal and providers.
• Lead payroll compliance: multi-state tax, 401(k)/Roth, audits, SOX.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in payroll, accounting, or finance; multi-state US payroll.
• 2+ years leading payroll projects or escalations.
• Deep knowledge of payroll operations, compliance, taxation, analytics, SOX.
• Experience payroll for large populations across multiple states.
• Strong program management: timelines, priorities, risks.
• Workday and/or ADP payroll system experience.
