Pharmacist In Charge (Specialty) - Asheville, NC

📋 Description

• Ensure compliance with all territory, state and federal pharmacy laws, Board of Pharmacy
• Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge with accountability for licensure, controlled
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure accurate dispensing, patient safety, and adherence to
• Maintain and enforce policies and procedures for prescription processing, drug storage, and security
• Lead audits, maintain records, and coordinate responses for regulatory bodies and accrediting
• Supervise and train pharmacists, technicians, and support staff to ensure quality standards and

🎯 Requirements

• Leadership experience in a pharmacy, PIC experience preferred
• Comfortable engaging with patients, providers, and all members of the care team both in-person and
• Experience navigating specialty medication benefits investigation, prior authorization, and
• Excited about working in a start-up environment and building workflows from the ground up
• Proficient in common pharmacy software systems (QS1, ComputerRx, PioneerRx, WAM, etc.), bonus for
• Knowledgeable about specialty medications
