Power Systems Engineer II

📋 Description

• Develop electrical project designs and construction drawings for launch facilities with senior engineers.
• Design and support electrical systems from 22.5 kV to 120 V.
• Support planning and purchasing for power generation, distribution, protection, and sequencing.
• Prepare drawings, RFPs, bid packages, and bid evaluations to support subcontractor selection.
• Develop electrical system requirements and participate in design reviews.
• Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams on future Relativity Space facilities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience applying first principles to electrical design, troubleshooting, or operations.
• Experience with aerospace/utility/industrial electrical systems including power generation and redundancy.
• Experience supporting electrical design/operations for power distribution, protection, controls.
• Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and stay composed in high-pressure environments.
• Clear communication with stakeholders across diverse teams.
