Practice Assistant

📋 Description

• Receive, review, flag, and route document requests (including consult notes, disability requests
• Ensure accurate filing in the EMR and proper follow-up action.
• Triage inbound admin calls and messages (Athena "Admin Phone Messages"), escalate or route to
• Handle incoming medical records from external providers, manage document uploads, index in EMR, and
• Communicate follow-ups to patients or providers as needed.
• Coordinate Midi requests for external records.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in telehealth operations, medical assistant support, or virtual healthcare administration
• Proficiency with EMR systems (Athena) and Slack/multiple communication platforms
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Healthcare terminology and HIPAA compliance knowledge
• Basic technical proficiency (videoconference tools, telehealth platform troubleshooting)
