Principal - Accounting Platform

📋 Description

• Own the financial data and accounting platform roadmap including ledger and sub-ledger integrity
• Partner with finance, internal audit, and external auditors to turn SOX and internal control
• Set platform standards, interfaces, and data contracts across products, entities, and asset types
• Work with compliance, legal, and risk to support regulatory reporting, books-and-records
• Reduce manual effort, elapsed time, and risk in month-end and quarter-end close; establish metrics

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years (typically 9+ for Principal) building or scaling systems, platforms, tooling, or control
• Accounting or finance foundation: CPA or equivalent, accounting degree, or hands-on experience in
• Experience building scalable platforms such as ledgers, billing, payments, reporting, data
• Experience in a regulated financial environment (auditors, examiners, SOX controls, control
• Technical credibility with engineers; familiarity with SQL and financial data pipelines is a plus.
• Crypto or digital-asset experience is a requirement.
