Principal, Business Management - Debt

📋 Description

• Lead a book of debt mandates from IOI through close as the primary negotiator and senior execution
• Own transaction velocity and close rates across your deal book
• Author credit memos and pricing recommendations and present transactions to Credit Committee
• Lead deal teams of junior team members and mentor on credit and execution
• Run debt execution with lenders and institutional capital providers
• Partner with Industry Coverage to qualify opportunities early

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA, JD, or advanced degree
• 8-10+ years of total experience, including 7+ years in renewable energy project finance
• Deep expertise in project finance debt structures for solar, wind, and storage
• Experience preparing and presenting transactions to credit or investment committee
• Experience leading and mentoring deal teams
• Exceptional negotiation and relationship skills
