📋 Description

• Own the architecture for major AWS engagements, from first assessment through to live running
• Set the technical direction clients trust, and defend it honestly when the easy answer is wrong
• Lead migration and modernization programs across compute, data, networking, and security
• Build cost into the design from day one, so FinOps is a habit rather than a rescue mission
• Mentor engineers and architects across the practice and raise the standard of what 'good' looks
• Work with sales and delivery leads to shape proposals you would be happy to deliver yourself

🎯 Requirements

• Deep, current AWS expertise across multiple domains, evidenced by certification, delivery history
• A track record of architecting and landing large-scale cloud migrations or platform builds
• Fluency in infrastructure as code, containers and modern CI/CD
• Strong security and networking judgment in regulated or high-availability environments
• The ability to explain a complex design to a CTO and to a delivery team in the same afternoon
• Comfort being the most senior technical voice in a client room
