Principal Engineer, Grid Engineering and Interconnection

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of transmission planning and interconnection study engineers while
• Own client relationships and oversee the successful delivery of interconnection, stability
• Review and ensure the technical quality of power flow, voltage stability, transient stability, and
• Conduct and oversee studies involving generator and load interconnections, transmission planning
• Prepare, review, and approve technical reports and ensure deliverables meet client requirements for
• Manage project scope, staffing, budgets, costs, and schedules across multiple concurrent client

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in power systems analysis, including at least 3 years leading
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; a Master’s or Ph.D. in Power Systems
• Deep proficiency with PSS/E for load-flow and transient stability analysis and ASPEN for
• Experience with at least one additional power system planning or analysis platform, such as PSLF
• Proven experience leading stability studies, congestion analysis, cost modeling, transmission
• Experience working across multiple ISOs, such as ERCOT, MISO, CAISO, PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE, or SPP, is
