Principal Hardware Systems Architect

📋 Description

• Own system architecture across electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, and power domains.
• Define and drive technical standards, architecture, and engineering processes for Axon 911 hardware.
• Collaborate with EE, RF, SW, and ME leads to align subsystem designs and requirements.
• Lead cross-functional design reviews and present outcomes to stakeholders.
• Manage system-level verification, validation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Own manufacturing readiness, regulatory certification, and production ramp plans.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of hardware engineering experience with deep expertise in at least two of electrical, RF
• Proven track record in owning system architecture and cross-disciplinary decisions for complex
• Experience taking compact, connected, battery-powered hardware from concept through mass production
• Deep experience in RF/antenna integration, power architecture, thermal management, EMI/EMC
• Ability to develop system requirements and validation plans with familiarity of regulatory
• Experience working with ODM/JDM or contract manufacturers and using hardware tools (Altium/Cadence
