Principal Hardware Systems Architect (Remote Eligible)

📋 Description

• Own system architecture across electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, and power domains for Axon 911
• Define and drive technical standards, architecture, and engineering processes for mass production.
• Collaborate with EE, RF, SW, and ME leads to align subsystem requirements and cross-functional
• Lead concept studies with internal/external teams and present outcomes and recommendations.
• Balance performance, size, cost, and manufacturability within power/thermal constraints.
• Drive production readiness and regulatory certifications for hardware.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of hardware engineering experience with deep expertise in at least two of electrical, RF
• Proven track record architecting cross-disciplinary hardware for mass production and ownership of
• Experience taking compact, connected hardware from concept through EVT/DVT/PVT and ramp to
• Deep experience in RF/antenna integration, power architecture, thermal management, EMI/EMC
• Experience developing system requirements and validation plans across U.S. and international
• Experience working with ODM/JDM or contract manufacturing partners.
