Principal, Institutional Sales

📋 Description

• Originate and grow institutional OTC relationships with hedge funds and asset managers
• Drive spot, derivatives, and structured flow via Gemini’s OTC platform
• Maintain high-touch coverage with market color, ideas, and risk-aware execution
• Partner with Trading to improve spreads, liquidity depth, and execution quality
• Identify new institutional revenue across OTC, custody, staking, derivatives
• Represent Gemini in sales cycles and industry conferences

🎯 Requirements

• 8-10+ years in institutional sales, OTC trading, or execution
• Strong track record of generating institutional trading volume and revenue
• Deep relationships across hedge funds, asset managers, crypto natives
• Strong understanding of OTC market structure, liquidity dynamics, derivatives
• Experience across traditional markets and/or digital assets
• Familiarity with onboarding, DDQs, regulated environments
• Excellent communication and negotiation with senior counterparts
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
