Principal Presales Engineer (German speaker)

📋 Description

• Lead technical pre-sales for New Business and Strategic segments.
• Deliver technical discovery, propose architectures, demonstrate product, and address concerns.
• Build trust with customers and guide them to Twilio solutions.
• Engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders through interactive demos.
• Mentor less experienced Presales Engineers and share reusable material.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years pre-sales or 10+ years related experience; strong customer-facing track record.
• Excellent communicator and presenter; engaging storyteller.
• Deep understanding of customer communications needs; design solutions accordingly.
• Technical background: Backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP); Web development (JavaScript
• Previous Telecom/SIP/Contact Center or Security experience; familiarity with sales methodologies.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering, Math, CS or equivalent; proficient German speaker.
