Principal, Procurement

📋 Description

• Own and continuously improve Monarch’s company-wide procurement process, including system
• Lead strategic sourcing and negotiations for material vendors, using market intelligence, usage
• Build a proactive vendor-management program that provides clear visibility into contracts, spend
• Partner with Finance, Engineering, and business leaders to improve the commercial economics of
• Drive adoption through clear policies, self-service resources, and employee education developed

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or
• Demonstrated experience owning and meaningfully improving procurement processes in a high-growth
• Hands-on experience administering a procurement-orchestration or comparable workflow platform
• Experience sourcing and negotiating technology spend, including SaaS, cloud infrastructure, data
• Experience partnering with Finance and Engineering to manage cloud or other usage-based technology
• Strong commercial and analytical judgment, including the ability to connect spend and utilization
