Principal Product Manager - Point of Sale Payments

📋 Description

• Own the roadmap and full lifecycle for the POS hardware fleet — proprietary OEM devices plus
• Negotiate and manage relationships with ODM/OEM manufacturers and component suppliers to meet cost
• Own product requirements for the device operating system: performance, security, update and patch
• Define the card-present checkout experience — transaction flows, tipping, signature, receipts
• Translate hardware and OS tradeoffs into business outcomes — cost, margin, NPS, churn, and

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, including meaningful time owning hardware or
• Direct experience managing a device portfolio spanning proprietary and third-party (ODM/OEM)
• Working knowledge of device operating systems — requirements, update management, and security —
• Understanding of the payments ecosystem: EMV, PCI compliance, card-present transaction flows, and
• A track record of taking hardware through full development cycles (EVT/DVT/PVT) and certification
