Privacy & AI Counsel

📋 Description

• Partner with product, AI, and employment teams to embed privacy and ethical AI into Axon’s products
• Advise on privacy and AI compliance for global products, operations, and regulatory frameworks.
• Provide guidance during incident response and remediation with stakeholders.
• Support cross-team privacy workflows: impact assessments, DSARs, DPAs, and third-party reviews.
• Collaborate with existing privacy counsel to refine privacy and AI processes.

🎯 Requirements

• JD and admission to and in good standing with at least one US state bar.
• Minimum of 3 years practicing privacy or data protection law, preferably for technology, SaaS, or
• Experience advising on privacy regulations globally (GDPR, US state laws, PIPEDA, Australia, LGPD).
• Expertise in cross-border transfer mechanisms and DPA drafting/review.
• Ability to distill complexity, navigate ambiguity, and work across teams with Axon’s Win Right
• Fluency in applying AI tools, prompts, and agents to operations.
