Privacy & AI Counsel

📋 Description

• Partner across teams to support privacy and AI compliance in Axon’s products, global operations
• Counsel on ethical and legal considerations of obtaining, handling, and using AI training data and
• Drive implementation of privacy principles by advising on and owning impact assessments, DSARs
• Work with Axon’s existing privacy counsel to build, refine, and implement privacy and AI processes.
• Provide guidance during and after incident response and remediation.
• Exercise sound judgment and self-direction within a fast-growing, global business.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD), admission to and in good standing with at least one US state bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing privacy or data protection law, ideally advising on
• Experience advising on privacy regulations globally (e.g., GDPR, US state privacy laws, PIPEDA
• Expertise in enterprise privacy, cross-border transfer mechanisms, intra-group data transfer
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, distill complexity, and work collaboratively.
• Fluency in applying AI tools, prompts, and agents to improve operations.
