Privacy Student Worker

📋 Description

• Automate, triage, diagnose, and fix Firefox Web compatibility issues.
• Own or prototype privacy projects such as Copy Clean Link.
• Improve Protections UI, Site Identity, Permissions and cert surfaces.
• Consolidate and improve telemetry dashboards.
• Mitigate tracking, security or privacy issues.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver complex projects.

🎯 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in BS/MS/PhD in CS/CE or related field focusing on security or privacy.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
• Enthusiasm for conducting software engineering work in the open.
• Basic knowledge of core web technologies and how browsers work.
• Understanding of, and passion for, privacy and security on the web.
• Experience with programming in C/C++ or JavaScript.
• Drive for learning and delivering fundamental work across the entire stack.
