Processing Technician I

📋 Description

• Receive and inventory fresh biological samples into electronic LIMS.
• Isolate PBMCs and separate whole blood components.
• Cryopreserve isolated cells and prepare reagents.
• Thaw, count cells, and generate data collection sheets.
• Provide basic RNA/DNA extractions and ELISAs support.
• Respond to freezer alarms and assist with other duties/projects.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Biology, Chemistry or Life Sciences, or equivalent.
• Basic lab skills and aseptic technique.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation; team-oriented.
• Lift 1–15 lbs; up to 50 lbs overhead with help; cold freezer work.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Biology or Chemistry; 1-2 yrs lab exp; PBMC isolation; LIMS; QMS.
