📋 Description

• Pitch story ideas tied to the news cycle with tight timelines
• Book, prepare for, record, and produce interviews with sources
• Write scripts and shape episodes for pacing and arc
• Travel for field reporting as needed
• Log, cut, and arrange tape; build assemblies and score moments
• Balance multiple episodes in production simultaneously

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years producing audio in a fast-paced newsroom
• Experience producing a daily podcast strongly preferred
• Ability to produce both longform and shortform content
• Strong scriptwriting and story editing with pacing
• Proficiency with editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Pro Tools)
• Enthusiasm for a high-intensity daily production schedule
