Product Counsel

📋 Description

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design and other cross-functional teams to give clear, practical
• Review product launches across Claude's consumer and enterprise offerings, spotting issues early
• Advise on subscriptions, pricing, promotions, billing and other growth programs, including consumer
• Support enterprise and regulated-industry products on topics such as admin controls, customer
• Draft and review user-facing terms, disclosures, in-product copy and marketing claims.
• Pull in privacy, commercial, IP, safety and other specialists, then return one integrated answer to

🎯 Requirements

• Hold a law degree (JD, LLB, or equivalent) and meet the local licensing requirements to work as
• At least 4 years of relevant legal experience, with exposure to technology, consumer or regulated
• Experience advising business or product teams directly, not only other lawyers.
• Working knowledge of at least two of: consumer protection, privacy, advertising and marketing law
• Curiosity about how AI products work, and the ability to pick up technical concepts quickly.
• A habit of making a clear recommendation, even with incomplete information.
