Product Counsel

📋 Description

• Advise Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams on product legal issues.
• Review new products and features; provide timely, business-focused legal guidance.
• Counsel teams on IP, software licensing, privacy, AI, security, and regulatory matters.
• Develop scalable legal guidance, policies, playbooks, and training for teams.
• Partner with commercial, privacy, security, compliance, and corporate legal to align cross-functional issues.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into actionable guidance.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 4-7 years of relevant legal experience counseling SaaS companies.
• Deliver high-quality legal analysis and execution across product matters.
• Excellent oral and written communication; articulate risk to technical, business, legal, and executive audiences.
• Operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments; balance competing priorities.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance legal workflow efficiency.
