Product Counsel

📋 Description

• Provide practical legal advice and counseling on a full range of product-related issues that arise
• Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering and Strategy teams through the entire product
• Serve as a legal advisor on AI matters, including advising on AI policies, liability, licensing
• Develop and enhance processes designed to ensure ongoing product compliance with global laws and
• Negotiate inbound and outbound license agreements
• Participate in the company's open-source review process

🎯 Requirements

• JD from an accredited institution
• Active and in good standing in at least one state bar
• At least 5 years of relevant legal experience at a law firm, government agency, and/or in-house
• Familiarity with emerging AI legal considerations, governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI
• Working knowledge of global privacy laws and their impact on software product development
• Exceptionally good communication skills
