Product Engineer, Backend

📋 Description

• Build Bill Switch to migrate users' subscription spend to new accounts.
• Contribute to a new API version that improves contracts and product direction.
• Help us firm up and improve our tax product for next tax season.
• Refactor legacy code to align with current product direction.
• Build a customer dashboard API aligned with our stack and expansion.
• Build integrations with banking partners and improve existing implementations.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building and maintaining back-end or full-stack apps with data modeling and APIs.
• Experience at an early-stage startup or small tech company.
• Deep expertise with modern back-end languages/frameworks: FastAPI, Django, Rails, Gin.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue).
• Led key implementations across multiple teams.
• Excited by working closely with customers.
