Product Engineer I

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and improve mechanical components, assemblies, and mechanisms for new product
• Create and maintain detailed CAD models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks
• Conduct root cause investigations, analyze test and production data, and implement corrective
• Perform design reviews, tolerance stack-up analyses, DFMEA assessments, and design verification
• Prototype, validate, and optimize designs using rapid prototyping techniques, including 3D printing
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Manufacturing, Operations, Purchasing, and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) required
• 3+ years of experience in product development, design engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, mechanisms
• Experience with plastic injection molding, engineered plastics, and extrusion-based product design
• Knowledge of design validation methodologies including DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and statistical
