Production Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead a team of software engineers in Production Engineering's Core team.
• Help the team turn complex, ambiguous problems into focused engineering goals and deliver them.
• Challenge assumptions, understand trade-offs, and help engineers make strong decisions.
• Shape the team's focus, priorities, and projects as Core evolves.
• Own day-to-day team health: set priorities, coach engineers, create psychological safety, and
• Build reliable services at scale, reusable standards, and strong Core–Embedded feedback loops.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading software engineers through complex or ambiguous technical work.
• Production exposure in environments where reliability, scalability, and production risk mattered.
• Ownership of significant technical initiatives from problem understanding to delivery, including
• Experience driving adoption of new tools, practices, or ways of working.
• Strong communication of technical trade-offs and ability to set direction while creating an
• Strong grounding in computer science fundamentals: concurrency, multithreading, data structures.
