Project Accountant, Construction

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end project accounting for construction buildouts
• Manage budget tracking, invoicing, change orders, and closeout
• Review/approve invoices, change orders, and payment apps
• Track commitments, contingency usage, retainage, and forecasts
• Lead closeout processes and landlord reimbursement reconciliation
• Serve as financial liaison to Design & Construction PMs and Finance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4–6 years in project accounting in construction or similar
• Proficient in CAPEX, accruals, retainage, change orders, and job cost
• Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, modeling
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
