Public Policy Manager, State and Local

📋 Description

• Execute Lyft’s legislative, regulatory, and political strategy.
• Represent Lyft with elected officials and government staff
• Track municipal and county legislation affecting Lyft
• Collaborate with senior management on public policy priorities
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Communications, and Marketplace on policy strategy
• Track and respond to government inquiries on policy issues

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of political, government, and/or government relations experience
• Experience directly lobbying government officials on complex issues
• Natural connector and relationship builder
• Exceptional strategic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Proven self-starter with experience leading and winning on complex policy issues
