  • Review assigned case files prior to each scheduled QME deposition to assess case status
  • Evaluate whether resolution (settlement, stipulation) is achievable prior to the deposition date
  • Communicate with attorneys, adjusters, and opposing counsel to explore early resolution options
  • Document case review findings and resolution recommendations in case management system
  • Review case files in depth including claim history, prior medical treatment records, and QME/AME
  • Analyze QME reports for internal inconsistencies, gaps, causation issues, apportionment concerns

🎯 Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active license to practice law in California (active member of the
  • 1+ years of experience litigating workers' compensation cases, including taking QME/AME
  • Working knowledge of California workers' compensation procedures, QME processes, and deposition
  • Prior experience as an associate attorney in a workers' compensation defense or applicant firm is a
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess case files and identify resolution opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
