Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality (temporary to hire)

📋 Description

• Lead supplier qualification, onboarding, evaluations, and periodic performance reviews
• Monitor supplier performance metrics (defects, nonconformances, corrective actions) and flag risks
• Support supplier audits end-to-end: preparation, documentation, follow-up, and corrective action
• Maintain supplier quality records, specifications, and requirements documentation
• Investigate supplier-related quality issues and nonconformances; issue and manage SCARs
• Partner with suppliers on root cause analysis, corrective actions, and timelines, and verify closure

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3 years in Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or a related function
• Working knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement methods
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; comfortable managing multiple open
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience in a regulated industry — medical device, manufacturing, electronics, automotive, or
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, or related field
