R&D Ops Program Manager

📋 Description

• Lead engineering rhythm and AI adoption: quarterly planning, sprint demos, leadership meetings.
• Own retrospectives and follow-ups; track action items and accountability.
• Track engineering commitments; surface risks, blockers, dependencies to leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes and reduce operational friction.
• Partner with Engineering Managers to improve planning, scoping, execution, and delivery.
• Build dashboards for leadership visibility on health and delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in R&D Operations, Program Management, Technical Program Management, or similar leadership.
• Hands-on experience in software engineering, QA, product development, or other technical role within an R&D organization.
• Proven experience leading complex cross-functional programs across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, release management, and engineering best practices.
• Experience improving engineering processes, delivery efficiency, and organizational execution.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into clear executive updates.
• Experience building dashboards and using Jira, LinearB, or similar tools to monitor engineering health and delivery.
