RCM Associate (Payment Posting)

📋 Description

• Post insurance payments, contractual adjustments, and denials from Electronic Remittance Advice
• Balance daily payment posting batches and reconcile posted payments against bank deposits to
• Investigate and resolve missing or mismatched remittance files, payment discrepancies, and
• Identify and flag underpayments, claim denials, and other payment irregularities to support timely
• Manage unapplied cash, credit balances, refunds, recoupments, and balance transfers in accordance

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management (RCM), medical billing, charge entry, or
• Strong working knowledge of medical coding principles and healthcare billing procedures.
• Experience using leading practice management (PM) systems, such as eClinicalWorks (eCW), ModMed
• Understanding of insurance claim submission requirements, payer guidelines, and pre-authorization
• Ability to identify coding errors, clinical editing issues, and potential claim inaccuracies before
• Familiarity with payment posting workflows, including ERAs, EOBs, adjustments, denials
