Regional Vice President, Benefits Compliance (Eastern Region)

📋 Description

• Review compliance checklists for key and national account clients, including preliminary
• Respond promptly to employee benefits compliance inquiries, often within 24 hours, providing clear
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, including federal and state laws and regulations
• Advise benefits consultants, brokers, account teams, and employer clients on compliance matters
• Provide guidance on Internal Revenue Code requirements, including Section 125, Flexible Spending
• Lead or co-lead regional compliance initiatives in partnership with regional sales and account

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in employee benefits, benefits consulting, or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations governing employee health and welfare
• Familiarity with key regulatory frameworks, including ERISA, PPACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Mental Health
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and explain complex compliance matters in clear
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to advise benefits brokers
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, including experience delivering training sessions
