RVP, Field Engineering, Public Sector

📋 Description

• Build and lead Field Engineering for Federal and SLED opportunities
• Partner with Public Sector Sales and AEs to drive discovery, demos, POCs
• Establish best practices for evaluations and PoC execution (FedRAMP/StateRAMP)
• Serve as escalation point for complex evaluations and high-stakes deals
• Hire and develop Field Engineering talent with public sector experience
• Feed agency and institutional insights back to Product and Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years leading Field Engineers, Solutions Architects, or Pre-Sales (Federal/SLED)
• Direct experience navigating public sector evals: security, compliance, POC
• Strong foundation in modern software workflows and AI tooling
• Partner with Sales while maintaining technical integrity in high-stakes deals
• Comfortable in customer-facing, high-pressure deals and guiding teams
• Strong communication and executive presence with agency leaders and CTOs
