Sample Preparation Technician (General Labourer)

📋 Description

• Unpack, sort, transfer, and dry geological samples in accordance with work order instructions and
• Execute crushing, pulverizing, and screening of geological materials following established Standard
• Conduct routine quality checks including particle size analysis and dust loss measurements
• Complete and maintain accurate work order documentation and enter Quality Control results into
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workbench area, ensuring spills are promptly cleaned and
• Inspect equipment regularly and alert supervisors to any damaged, defective, or malfunctioning

🎯 Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• 0-1 years of relevant laboratory or sample preparation experience, or equivalent experience through
• Strong analytical and mechanical skills with the ability to perform routine bench tests accurately
• Excellent attention to detail and proven time management abilities
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read, understand, and follow technical work instructions in a safe, accurate, and timely
