School-Based Mental Health Technician (Middle School)

📋 Description

• Partner closely with ESS clinicians to support students' mental health and overall well-being
• Monitor and track student progress, providing timely updates to the interdisciplinary team
• Assist in the development, implementation and reinforcement of the individualized care plans
• Co-facilitate group interventions and student support sessions under clinician guidance
• Support therapeutic milieu management (e.g., scheduling sessions, managing passes, lunch support
• Provide in-classroom support through observation and targeted interventions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a school or clinical setting supporting student
• Experience working with students, families, and community-based mental health or social service
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
• Knowledge of basic therapeutic interventions and counseling techniques
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
