Scientist - Cell Culture Operations

📋 Description

• Perform aseptic mammalian cell culture, expansion, and passaging in a GMP environment following
• Support production of GMP Working Cell Banks (WCB) and Single Use Cell Banks (SUCB), including
• Perform cell counts and viability measurements (e.g., NucleoCounter) and assist with audit trail
• Perform assigned bank qualification testing, including DNA extraction for ddPCR, and help
• Compile and process bank data to support release reports, and prepare cell bank shipments to
• Draft revisions to SOPs, forms, and training documents; initiate and support deviations and CAPAs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biology, cell biology, biotechnology, or a related life sciences field, or a
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Candidates within commuting distance of Santa Monica, CA are encouraged to apply
• Strong hands-on mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique, including work in biological safety
• Experience with cell harvest, cryopreservation, and frozen cell storage
• Working knowledge of GMP/GDP principles and strong attention to detail
