Scientist I - Boat Captain

📋 Description

• Operate and routinely maintain a variety of vessels in coastal and inland waterways, including
• Safely trailer and transport vessels using non-CDL truck and trailer combinations to designated
• Ensure adherence to all U.S. Coast Guard, state, and company safety and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate vessel operations with field staff and provide logistical support for project
• Support SCUBA-based field activities and ensure compliance with established safety protocols and
• Maintain accurate vessel logs, records, and required documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience operating vessels in both coastal and inland waterways, including
• Valid boat captain license.
• Proficiency in trailering, launching, and retrieving vessels with non-CDL truck and trailer
• Minimum 1–3 Years Experience Operating Motorboats (20–25 ft)
• SCUBA certification and current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience in Coastal, Estuarine Waters and Adjacent Rivers - Familiarity with tides, currents
