Security Engineer (Fractional)

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain a 12-month security roadmap
• Establish and maintain a security risk register
• Mentor the IT Manager
• Establish security office hours and provide guidance on secure coding, OWASP, DevSecOps
• Assess and strengthen security controls across cloud, dev environments, CI/CD, IAM, endpoints
• Ensure data-handling practices align with GDPR, Philippines Data Privacy Act, Australian Privacy Act

🎯 Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in security engineering, cloud security, application security, DevSecOps
• Strong technical understanding of SDLC, CI/CD security, AWS, GCP, IAM, vulnerability management
• Ability to assess and validate security controls
• Strong ability to translate technical findings into practical recommendations
• Experience with client security assessments, questionnaires, audits
• Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR and related compliance frameworks
