Security Engineer - Product Security

📋 Description

• Champion and implement security best practices and tooling for secure dev and deployment.
• Partner with teams to integrate security throughout the SDLC from ideation to monitoring.
• Consult, educate, and advocate practical security across diverse groups.
• Drive cross-disciplinary initiatives to improve security across Spotify's systems.
• Conduct threat modeling, security reviews, and risk assessments for AI and non-AI systems.
• Evaluate, prototype, and integrate security tools to improve outcomes for developers.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering or related field.
• Comfortable coding to integrate security tools and automate workflows.
• Expertise in backend development, AI/ML, distributed systems, CI/CD, or cloud.
• Strong foundation in cryptography, threat modeling, secure design, and software security.
• Comfortable communicating security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in agile environments and adapting to changing priorities.
